Google Labs has launched Google Spreadsheets. Think of it as Excel online. I’ve signed up and had a play and I am really quite impressed. I uploaded a small spreadsheet I use to keep track of my ‘pocket money’ and aside from one small formatting glitch it worked perfectly. Contrast this with iRows to which I tried to import the same file and which failed horribly because it doesn’t (yet) support the ‘date’ data type, nor some of the functions I was using.
