I was chatting to a colleague at work about the dire state of the local train system and had shown her my Tranz Metro Mayhem section on this blog and it turns out her uncle is Toll Rail Manager of Passenger Services for the North Island – i.e. including the very services I was complaining about. She passed on my blog address to him and apparently he passed it on to his boss who will ‘respond’. Watch this space.

In the meantime, the delays continue.  I’m off work for the next two weeks so will try to get the TMM section updated – it’s about 50 messages behind!
