I’ve been using Microsoft Excel for many years now in my work and have got to the point where I am somewhat of a power user.  I know a number of other people at a similar level too and we all often consult and are consulted on how to achieve a particular task.

I’ve come up with some fairly nifty tricks which I want to share, and also record for my own later reference.  I have a page on my main SittingDuck site which was going to be the prime repository for these but I’ve largely not updated the main site in favour of the blog in recent years and tonight it struck me that blog posts would fit the bill anyway. I’ve switched out the Archives list on the right side of the blog for a categories list so you should be able to access all posts in the category easily.

I’ll start getting some of my historical stuff posted in the next few weeks – starting with a nifty trick I worked out for a colleague this week.   It was one of those cases where the answer was easy – when you figured it out.
