Happy birthday to meeee…
I have to thank my sons for reporting back on one of Dad’s many desires. I genuinely didn’t know what was inside when I opened the package. The chocolate and package-deforming polystyrene chunks were no great surprise, but a shiny new Apple wired keyboard – in ultra-thin aluminium and low profile keys with great tactile feedback – was a complete surprise.
The other item so far is a trip to the Classic Fighters 2009 airshow at Omaka, though I have yet to decide between taking a boat or a plane. The plane is cheaper and far more convenient if just going for a day, but taking the boat means a car and maybe a short holiday and the possibility of my sons joining me.
Family arrive tomorrow for a barbeque dinner (cue Tui ad due to weather forecast) and more pressies!
