Have you got Firefox 3 yet?

FoxkehUnless you’ve been under a stone for the last while, you’ll know that Mozilla finally launched Firefox 3 recently. I’ve been using it solidly for the last two betas and the 3 release candidates so it was merely a ‘legitimisation’ for me to download the final release product. However, I was one of over 8 million people who did so on the day of launch.

If you’ve been using Firefox 2 (especially on a Mac, where it was buggiest) then you should definitely upgrade. If you’re still using Internet Explorer, then you owe it to your PC to upgrade. It is far superior in almost every way.

And if you’re a Safari user? Well, I’d still recommend you install it, even if you don’t use it as your primary browser. It’s always useful to have ‘another’ browser handy when you think something isn’t happening right. Plus, there are still some sites that can’t (or won’t) deal with Safari (Google Notebook being one specific example I use).

This post is also a test of a Firefox extension called ScribeFire, which lets me post blog entries without having to use my Wordpress admin interface. Let’s see how it does.
