I’ve prettied up the data used in the last post so here it is.
First up a couple of graphs. The first one shows service penetration by population and number of countries. It’s interesting to note that music (songs) only manages 76.7% despite the country count reaching 99.2% – quite simply, it’s available everywhere but China.
The second graph shows some key countries’ size relative to the full population of all 120 countries served by Apple services. The tiny sliver at the bottom with no label is Australia. I guess with less than half a percent it doesn’t rate a label.
And finally, here’s a PDF of the full iTunes Customer Base data. If you’re not in one of the countries in the pie chart be sure to check out how you fare. New Zealand screams into the charts at a heady 0.08%. Woohoo!
